ik heb het van het internet vertaalt en het is fout? nou,internet is ook nie al te slim!

Even een reactie hierop, dat klopt. Taal is iets heel erg moeilijks om te vertalen (ik ben docent Engels en kom het regelmatig tegen dat mijn leerlingen hun Engelse stukken door de vertaalmachine gooien, dan klopt er niets meer van). Dit heeft te maken met heel veel dingen waaronder de zinsopbouw, deze is in het Nederlands heel anders dan in het Engels en de manier waarop werkwoorden bijvoorbeeld vervoegd worden. Ik zal je er niet te veel mee vervelen maar google translate, interglot of vertalen.nu zijn niet echt goede sites om hele zinnen mee te vertalen. Zelfs losse woorden is heel lastig want arm of bank zijn twee woorden met meerdere betekenissen
Anyway, om mee te doen met je topic;

Picking up the language....only go to the English pages, and don't push the 'translate button'!

I have a dog named Luna.
She is very naughty and smart, but sweet.
She came from an 'adoption bureau', where she stayed with a foster mum.
