| Beschrijving: | 7 t/m 10 November: IFSS DRYLAND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 This year the IFSS Dryland World Championships is to be hosted in Falze di Piave, Italy by the F.I.M.S.S. - Federazione Italiana Mushere Sleddog Sport. The event will take place from the 7th of November until the 10th of November 2013. In 2010, Falze di Piave hosted the ESDRA European Championship sleddog races, attracting record numbers of competitors to the races. The trails are of superior quality, with a surface suitable to all dogs and athletes. This is a very fast trail, with little gradient, and a very smooth surface, ideal for allowing breath taking speeds of over 30km per hour for competing dog teams. Falze di Piave is located in the provence of Treviso, in the Veneto region of Italy. More specifically Falze di Piave is located at the southeast corner of the Quartier del Piave, between the Piave and Soligo south, its tributary to the east, beyond which covers an area of hills included in the municipality of Susegana. The Piave is a river in northern Italy. It begins in the Alps and flows southeast for 220 km (137 mi) into the Adriatic Sea near the city of Venice. Guaranteed to provide an adrenaline fuelled racing experience for both competitors and spectators, the Italian Federation looks forward to welcoming the IFSS World Championships this 7th – 10th November 2013.
